This is not a one-time amount. Every time the bot opens a trade it takes 50% of whatever USDT is free at that moment — recalculated then, not fixed today. It grows as profits accumulate and shrinks after a loss.
“Free” means your available balance across the whole platform, so anything that uses USDT changes it: deposits and withdrawals, spot and Buy & Sell orders, futures margin and card loads, as well as this bot’s own profits and losses. If your balance drops far enough that the percentage falls below the minimum, that trade simply skips you.
While a trade is open your share moves to reserved — it cannot be withdrawn or used elsewhere until the trade closes, the same as holding a futures position. It is returned with the result when the trade closes.
This bot trades in both directions. As well as buying when it expects the price to rise (long), it can sell short — a position that gains when the price falls and loses when it rises. You do not need to hold anything to sell short; the position is opened by selling and closed by buying it back.
You can change the percentage or stop copying at any time. A trade that is already open always runs to its close.
Trading losses are, as a rule, limited to your margin via liquidation. Funding and fees are charged separately — from your available balance first, then from margin. In extreme market moves a liquidation gap can occur, as with regular Futures.
